The R. A. Long High School Alumni Association began in 2002 with just a few people gathering to answer the question "Wouldn't it be nice to form an alumni association to maintain contact amongst the generations of R. A. Long students and to benefit the school and current students in some way?" This small group researched, planned, and registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington. The Association is also a non-profit organization under the IRS 501(c)(3).
Meetings
Board Meetings
Academic Year
During the school year the Board meets at R.A. Long High School on the last Tuesday of the month. The meetings start at 7:00 PM. The meetings are generally in Room 115. There is no meeting in December.
Summer
During the summer the Board meets at various locations on the last Tuesday of the month. The meetings start at 7:00 PM.

Bylaws
The name of the corporation shall be The Alumni Association of ROBERT A. LONG HIGH SCHOOL.
The principal office of the corporation shall be at 911 11th Avenue, Longview, County of Cowlitz, State of Washington. The corporation may have such other offices as may from time to time be designated by its members or its executive committee.
Officers & Board of Directors
Any member of the Association is eligible to be elected as an Officer or to the Board of Directors in accordance with the Bylaws of the Association.
